As per The 2011 census of Bihar Districts, Rohtas is the highest literate district with 73% of literacy rate where as Purnia is the least literate district with a literacy rate of 51%.
The census 2011 of Bihar Districts also shows that Gopalganj District represents the highest sex ratio with 1021 females per 1000 males while Munger District features the lowest sex ratio in India with just 876 women per 1000 males
